This cache is located in the Hidden Falls Regional Park in Placer County.

It is located at the highest point in the current boundaries of the park.

Once there, looking to the north provides you with a panorama of the entire Hidden Falls Park valley.

Looking to the west provides you with a stunning view of the greater Sacramento valley.

There are picnic tables up here so have a picnic while enjoying the views.

Be sure to bring a writing utensil.

Directions to the Park: From Auburn area, take Mt. Vernon Rd. west. Look for the signs. Right on Mears Rd.

From Lincoln area, Wise Rd. east. It turns into Mt. Vernon Rd. Look for the signs. Turn left on Mears Rd.

This was a fun day of caching. Found this one long ago. Here is the log of my find.


Out today with h_mtreasurecache, G-UNIT and G-man Jr. Figured we nab a few at one of the areas newest parks. Made this one our first stop. Hoped we would have FTF honors but alas .... not to be....but we were 2nd! G-man jr. found the hide. TFTC
