Was up in Bear Rocks today so I figured, have at it. Been fishing at this lake many times over the years, goooood lake for bass and large blue gills. Found stage 1 easy enough, coords were right on, sat for a minute and went hmmmmmmmmm, if this is that, then that is this, and off to stage two I went. Found the goods and signed the log. Had to do he cryptogram that decoder thing was making me crazy, hehe! Always enjoy being up here, even watched a farmer plowing for a couple of minutes, man do they use big tractors today!! Thanks for the puzzle and the hides. TNLN

Open Log: Non-commercial use only I think this was the 5th cache that we got done today which isn't as impressive as it sounds because one was a "short walk" and another was "dumb and easy". This one wasn't quite a 5/3.5 either. I'd give it no more than a 3/2.5 but maybe that's because I'm old school. We arrived at the first stage coordinates to discover a fun little bike trail that I never knew existed. I'm going to come back in the spring to ride this with my dad! We found the first-stage cache quickly and set to work on decoding the puzzle while a cold wind blew our fingers numb. We weren't sure that we knew the right way to solve the cryptogram so we took pics to solve it later just in case. This turned out to be a waste of time because we came up with numbers that seemed reasonable and they ultimately proved to be right on the money. My slick new mapping GPS pretty much told us exactly where we needed to go and how to get there but this didn't stop us from driving around more than necessary. Once we settled on a parking spot, it was easy enough to locate a sketchy game trail that led us to the coordinates. The hike and water hazard was no big deal even though we had a five year-old along for the adventure. We were quite happy to find the cache right away because we expected that there was a good chance that we had gotten our numbers wrong. Trades were made but I don't remember what. Thanks for the cache and for listing it here. Johnny.

Open Log: Personal use only Found this one after a healthy search in the woods. The cryptogram wasn't difficult, but I transposed two digits when writing down my results. Still enjoyed it. TFTC!
