It's been a long time since anyone found this cache and I don't know if it's still there. Some day I will get out and check. If you wish to find this cache, it is still listed on geocaching.com. I'm retiring it here since I rarely check this site.

There's an old building not far from the cache. You'll probably see it before you leave the trail/road. If you get a chance, walk behind the building and you'll find a trail behind there. I found a nice view back there, but then it's January and I have no idea what it'll look like in July. Just watch out--the building has a lot of gunshot holes. If you hear loud bangs, I'd get away from there!

You can get to the cache from that trail if you like--I did. I wouldn't suggest it, though--I'll be recovering for a while from the damage the briars did to me around there. I know from hiding the first cache here that the briars will be worse during the summer.

The cache is hidden in a small ammo can.

Original contents:

  • Pencil

  • Notebook

  • Sharpener (maybe--I can't remember if there is one there)

  • Super Balls

  • Marbles

  • A Dollar Coin

  • 2 Casino Tokens

  • A round Koosh toy

Please try to leave round objects in place of anything you remove.
Thank you!

Drove up to the trail that goes off road, then hiked in. The briars were not that bad, this was an easy cache today. Thanks for the hide. Left quarter.
