Misc: Drinking water available. There are restrooms (water closets) available Pets are allowed. Parking is available No fees!

Comments:
Lonavala is a hill station east of Mumbai (Bombay) & west of Pune (Poona). Bhushi Dam is a catchment above Bhushi Lake. Parking is minimal at Rs.5 ($0.10) & MANY temporary shacks sell simple refreshments. As usual, bathrooms are where you wish. During the dry season, the path & 30-odd steps up the dam are an easy climb. During the monsoons (JUN-SEP), be careful.

This is my 4th attempt at introducing NaviCache to India, but I'm not convinced there are any other GPS receivers in India. I have an extra one to loan in Chennai (Madras) area.

Thanks for playing, Kerlyn. Most GPS are accurate to within 10-20 meters. Were you able to spot the rocks (posted in the picture) within the 10-20 meters? The cache was underneath, but several of my caches have disappeared in India. If a random native finds one, they're probably not going to understand English and the cache instructions. Plus, the rule of India: no rules. Look at traffic :-)

We looked extensively for the cache but could not find it. I'm not entirely sure my gps was reading correctly for we couldn't see the dam from where it lead us. We expanded our search but still couldn't find it, so it may be gone. :-( Kerlyn
