This cache is the second in a series of caches we have placed along the lower portion of Indian Creek. This portion of Indian Creek spans from the spill way of the Mill Run reservoir to the Youghiogheny River, and has some of the most beautiful scenery to be found in the Laurel Highlands. Our family has spent countless hours along this part of Indian Creek, and we believe this area was made for caching. There are several ways to get to this valley, but we ask that you please use only the lower Indian Creek Valley trail to access this cache. Coming in any other way may cause problems that we would like to avoid. To get to the parking area, turn off of route 381 near Mill Run onto Camp Christian Road and go about .6 miles. Then, make a right turn into a small gravel parking area. Please do not block the gate at the bridge. From the parking area, follow the trail (biking may be the preferred method). There will be a fork in the trail a little way past the gated bridge, take the left road for the trail to get to the cache area. There are 4 more caches in this series as well as Quest Master’s Hampton cache. So, after your find, continue on down through this magnificent valley and enjoy your day!

Forgot to log this one back in June, I grabbed my son-in-law and the bikes and off we went. The trail starts out nice but it does get a little rougher the futher you go, but it's definately rideable. The scenery down this trail is just awesome. The cache was well disguised but eagle eye
s-i-l spotted it and I signed in.

I almost passed this one right up, I had my sights on the big rock cropping up ahead. Then Mike said to me, "remember who hid this cache," this got me to thinking in another frame of mind and I looked around and spotted the hiding place right away. Cool cache....of course!! These guys are pros!! A couple of ATV riders passed us while we were looking but they never even saw us. We took a Trilene lanyard and left a mini Golden Book and a kitchen magnet. TFTC!!

We got this one on what turned out to be a rewarding day. The cache itself was exposed and not under cover when I found it. It has started to show some rust and might need a replacement next spring or at least a look see.

Thanks for a great day!

Third of several 4MRnutz caches found today as Nellsnake #1, 2, and 4 decided to take a ride along the ICV trail. It was a beautiful day for a ride and for caching. We enjoyed all of the craftsmanship on the containers. This one was also cool. Nellsnake #1 spotted it as it looked just a bit off. We made a couple trades and signed in the logbook at about 12:15 pm. Thanks for a great cache series along this nice trail!

Eric, Erin, and I rode on down the trail to find this cache after getting #1. It was a beautiful day to be out riding on the ICV Trail which is something that I haven't done in awhile. We saw the Nellsnake team along the way and they seemed to be having a good time even if the youngest member of the team was dragging a bit. I'm amazed that Ken was even able to ride after just completing the Rachel Carson Challenge. The ride to the coordinates turned out to be quite a bit further than the GPS indicated due to the meander of the creek and railroad. Nevertheless, we found where we needed to search and eventually established a ground zero right where we ultimately found the cache. Eric was the first to realize that one of these things is not like the others. Ha! You had us going there for a minute. I don't remember trades because I way behind logging stuff but the important thing is that we had fun. Thanks for hiding this! On to the next...
