This is a favorite stop for me when I drive to Gunnison, Colorado. There is a pull-out from highway 50 where you can park literally 10 yard from the cache...the trick is getting there.
Although I placed the cache without the aid of climbing gear, there is a long drop off on either side. So only attempt this cache if you are comfortable with climbing. I wouldn't advise trying in the winter or during high winds. SO PLEASE BE CAREFUL I did place 5 boomerangs in the Tupperware container for the first five to find the cache. There is also a pen and log book. |
