Hi....My name is Brian...and I'm a cache-a-holic. This was my first solo find and I couldn't be happier. Even though this is practically in my backyard I have seldom ventured into this "neck of the woods". It was a great day to soak in some of God's creation. I left the truck at 4:10 not knowing what to expect. GPS...check, Snowshoes....check, Cache info...check, Item to place in cache....check. Off we go. My GPS and I still have a bit of a communication problem but we are going to counseling and really working on our relationship. I closed the distance rather quickly and surprised myself with a speedy find. Removed a bike lock and left a mini-carabiner/flashlight. Repacked the cache and considered attempting Wobblestock's "High Point" before daylight faded. Like a good beagle on a hot cottontail I was off. See that log for further details.

I enjoyed this long hike back to the cache, it was a rainy overcast morning and I had to get a cache or two today. This hide was a first for me and very ingenious. Took the flashlight and left a really nice aqua colored antique bottle. Signed the log and put cache container back to its original position. Great fun - Paleoman52

Mr. Brogan, another caching triumph! I had checked out this area about 2 or 3 months ago, and was unable to find the trail in for this one. But on a nice fall day with the leaves slowly falling off the trees, the trailhead was easy to locate this time around.
The walk was a beautiful trek, as their were still enough leaves on the trees to put you into that fun fall spirit. The trail was a little wet and muddy, but that was to be expected. We didn't see any hunters around, but we were sure to wear our "Hey Don't Shoot At Me!" colors just in case. hehe.

Once we got to the cache site, I started the initial search (not heeding the very helpful clue) and it wasn't until I noticed a certain something in a certain spot, which led me a certain conclusion and a most certainly well placed cache.

All in all this was a great way to spend a beautiful fall day. On another note, I was able to introduce my new geocaching stamp (it's been sitting around for 3 weeks and was just DYING to be used), so that was a fun plus to a very interesting cache adventure.

Love those hikes in big woods. So that means I really loved this cache. Good coords. helped make for a quick find. The hint also helped. Took picture #14 with cache camera. Signed log, TN/LN. Thanks again Brogan for another nice hide. That’s 5 of yours I found today.

Was at the Beaver Meadows Audubon Center and after that wanted to do some caching. Knowing Sue had found this already off I went. What a muddy walk in. Found cache in no time. TNLNSL.

What can I say!!! There is something about this particular cache that I just can't put my finger on..
Nice job Brogan, we had a lot of fun on this little adventure. Chickenlips was trying out her new GPS and all seemed to work rather well. We took the baseball bat tape and left a baseball. Took a picture with the cache camera and it looks like 22 pics are left. Thanks for a great evening...

Made a beeline straight to the cache area from Sodom Rd.
I would NOT recommend this without snowshoes in the winter... :(
Was about to give up after 1/2 hr of poking around in 2ft of snow, when the 5yr old sees it.
took the transformer robot, left an electronic blackjack game.
We wanted to go over and do Beaver Meadows, Rose Acres, & a Restful Place, but had to get home to dinner... :(
Met a couple of cachers who were coming from the Byrnecliffe Event, going in to place a Canonball Run contestant on our way out.
Thought I passed Brogan on the road right after we left, but that must have been my imagination. :)

Third cache and last cache of the night with Brogan coming from 'Beaver Meadow #2'. The trail leading to the cache made for a nice workout in the snow. Once again, the cold was messing with the LCD screen of the GPS but we finally located the cache after a short search of the area. The cache setup reminded me of 'Up Up & Away' by Balloon Pilot. Very nicely done! TNLNSL.

After this cache, we called it a night and headed back for Byrncliff Resort to warm up with a few drinks :)

Hey! Now this cache was more of a challenge than the past few caches that we have done. Many posted signs, trails that were obscured by leaves, periodic gun shots from the hunters that were in the woods, streams cammoflaughed by leaves and a glorious sun that was hidden until we started out to go geocaching.

Just a great way to spend the latter parts of our afternoon! I'de recommend either putting cookies on once you enter the woods or making a way point when you enter the woods....all the trails started to look the same to me......(but then I am directionally challenged).

We found the cache box shortly after we arrived at the destination.....well done to say the least!
The cache box was in very good shape. We took a necklace, set of pens and a ball. These we replaced with a seashell from Bolivia NC where my parents live, a AAA keyring, a single use gormet packet of coffee, a golden pinewood derby car, and a packet of bandaides......

This is a nice cache, once you find it you will have been to the middle of nowhere. The woods are very nice, all the leaves except for the beech trees have fallen to the ground so I rode my bike on a carpet of yellow and orange. Saw tracks from turkeys, saw a 4 pt buck, heard chickadees and nuthatches. There was still some snow on the ground so I made a bunch of decoy tracks to throw off the next cachers to look. Took the lottery ticket, dropped off Bernard TB, took the first photo and was the first person to enter a log. Thanks for the perfect excuse to be late to work.
