This is a geocache that I had been wanting to get around to hiding for a very long time. Finally I got it set. Now it's your turn to chase down the coordinates and find it! The container is hidden right out in the open. You may want to bring some binoculars on your first visit ... to look at the ducks up close, of course. When I was looking to place a cache in this park, I found the remnants of an old cache very near this one. You may even find the remnants in your attempt to find this one. If you're looking for this cache and you find the empty coffee tin, then you haven't seen Over the rainbow, so keep looking. Also, there is another cache nearby, GCYVM7, that mentions a letterbox that was found when Lunartear was scouting around to place that cache. So I figure that this park used to contain hundreds of caches and letterboxes, but then the Wicked Witch arrived and they all disappeared.

Notice the difficulty level for this cache. You can claim it as a find only if you sign the logbook. Whoever finds this first gets to keep the FTF Prize. To prove that you were first, and get your name at the top, log what you received as the FTF Prize. After you sign the logbook, please place the cache back as it was (or should have been). Pay attention to how the stuff is put together. I made it so that it can be retrieved using a number of ways. Put it back the same way. I debated whether or not it should be a difficulty of 5, but after pondering on the matter for ages, I settled on the 5; let me know if it's worthy. I considered making this the final location to a difficult puzzle, but then the puzzle itself would get in the way of the fun for many people. I considered having this as the final location of a multistage geocache, but I wanted to post coordinates for this spot. So here you go. Get the coordinates and track it down. That's all. It's that "easy".

You are looking for a small mug/thermos with cammo and black duct tape all over it. See the close up picture below. Contents include one of those new one dollar coins, two Kansas buffalo quarters, two Lewis-and-Clark edition nickels, a bracelet hand crafted by the wonderful Mrs. cantuland, and a few other tiny miscellaneous trade goodies. Put on your stealthing caps for this one. Every now and then, a new Dorothy crew comes traveling down the yellow pathway, walks nearby, makes the loop at the end, makes a second pass and disappears.

Elsewhere in this park, you can find some outdoor Wizard of Oz art, including a yellow brick road. There is a little train for grandpuppies to ride, and paddleboats available to get you out on the water. Ducks and geese are here year-round. Watch out when you drive up to certain parking areas, because they all know that the one who begs the loudest will get the treats. When Halloween rolls around, the Haunted Island in this park is one of the awesomest places to check out.

REMEMBER:
Make the fair trade.
Log your visit.
Leave the site better than you found it.
Protect the environment — always.
Educate those around you.
Find another cache!
Good luck, and may all your cache dreams come true.
