This is a waypoint I got while taking the Cross Sound Ferry from Orient Point LI to New London CT (yes LI is recognized as a state symbol around here). Assuming the ferries take the same route and use gps to navigate you should pass right over this point as you take the ferry (that would be the auto ferry, I would think the high speed passenger only ferry uses a different route to allow passing). See how close you can get to this point and post it here.

If you want to get here by other means feel free but remember if you use your own boat you will be traveling directly in the ferry right of way (and they do take it) - so make sure it's not a-comming.
