Misc: No drinking water! No restrooms (water closets) available Pets are allowed. Parking is available No fees!

Comments:
Poison ivy as been seen at the parking area. I did not see any on the trail or near the shore but still be vigilant. It is also a nice view of the river and Gatineau park mountains.

We have not implemented maps outside of the U.S.A. ... YET!

Easy walk to the riverfront

Park at the riverfront recreation area. Follow the pinhey point directions off dunrobin rd. It is about 5 or 10 minutes form the parking at an easy pace. There is a nice trail and stairway to the riverfront. At the site you will see some very nice carvings that where made in the stairway rocks and surrounding ones. Farther away to your right (when facing the river) there is also a human shape ingraved in the stone near the ridge. I have been to the location with 2 natural museum researchers and they where amazed by them. It would be interesting to find out who made these ingravements.

I found these while geocaching in the area. I thought they were fossils. Amazing size!
