This is the first cache hidden on the island Vis in Adriatic sea in Croatia. It is hidden near ruins on the hill and is within half an hour hike from the port. In June 2006 we were sailing on Adriatic sea moving from island to island. We started to search for caches on every place we have been and were a little disappointed that there are not that many caches in Croatia. Sailing team liked geocaching very much and we decided to hide our own cache. We prepared a red can with some souvenirs in it and hided it in a wall near destroyed tower. Jo Travel Bug is waiting for first visitor and will be happy to move on. You will enjoy nice panorama from the summit to the sea around the island. Also there is a funny restaurant on the way to the cache, where we tried local wine and pogacha (fish pie). Elle est cachée auprès des ruines sur le sommet et se trouve d'une demi-heure du port. En juin 2006 nous avions navigué à la mer Adriatique d'une île à l'autre. Nous avons regardé s'il y a des caches sur chaque place où nous étions allés et avons été un peu déçus qu'il n'y a pas beaucoup de caches en Croatie. L'équipe de notre yacht a beaucoup aimé le geocaching et nous avons décidé de cacher notre propre cache. Nous en avons préparé un avec des souvenirs et l'avons caché dans un mur près de la tour détruite. Jo Travel Bug attend le premier visiteur et va être heureux de pouvoir aller ailleurs. Vous allez apprécier le joli panorama de la mer entourant l'île.
