This cache takes you on another tour through Keystone State Park (http://www.dcnr.state.pa.us/stateparks/parks/keystone.aspx). The best place to park is at the Visitor's Center, located at N 40° 22.331' W79° 23.191. You might want to stop by the Visitor's Center and pick up a park map which provides details on the hiking trails. From there, follow the Stone Lodge Trail and let your GPS be guide.

The theme for this cache is miniature jigsaw puzzles. So please bring one small enough (i.e. 4" x 4" box) to fit in the small ammo box when trading. Of course any small puzzle or game is acceptable for the theme. There is also a camera in the cache, so feel free to take a picture.

This is in a hunting area, be careful....wear orange.

Enjoy your journey! Geocaching is more than just numbers.

Whew, that was a hike! I do like the area up there. No one else around and it doesn't seem like this area sees many hikers. TFTC.

First to log on Navicache! Woo Hoo! That's way better than a FTF anyday. Thanks for listing this here. It's good to have alternatives because you never know when they might come in handy.

I enjoyed this puzzle cache that isn't a puzzle. I'm starting to miss the good old-fashioned box of stuff in the woods these days. I did this cache is a pouring rain. Why? Because I was on my way back from a maintenance run to my cache in Saltsburg and I was determined to get this cache while I was already in the neighborhood. That and because caches make me do stupid things sometimes. This was one of those times. I have been to this park plenty of times but never to this part of it. I thought that the Stone Lodge must be new but apparently it's been there forever and I just never knew about it. And here I thought that I knew everything there was to know about Keystone State Park! I started up the trail before the rain began but I was wearing my raingear because it was obvious that it was going to start raining at any moment. I made it about halfway to the cache before I felt the first raindrops. I tried to hurry but the unrelenting hill had no mercy on my out-of-shape body. I followed various trails to within 150 yards of the cache before I elected to bushwhack through the open woods. I got to the coordinates easily and found the cache after wandering around in the rain for about ten minutes. I didn't have anything that fit the theme so I did a wholesale swap of travel bugs instead. The cache is chock full now! Nice cache! Thanks! Johnny
