This cache is sort of like a travel bug. Now that I've confused you I shall go on and explain… The concept of this cache is whoever find it take’s the cache with them and the puts it out again in another location. You can change the way the cache looks, add different features and modify it however you see fit.

The way I started the cache was just a logbook in a plastic bag. Note the logbook is about the size of your pinkie, and could fit in all sorts of places. I took pictures of the area around the cache to the left and the right and also took a picture of the building near it.
I thought this would be a great way to see what interesting ideas the people of Rochester could come up with. Use your imagination also keep it in Rochester or the suburbs and happy hunting.

The cords posted for this cache are the current cords for were the cache is right now. The cords are not precise, They will lead you to the area 40 or 50 feet around where the cache is. Use the pictures to locate the cache.
After you find the cache… Log it as a “Find” on this page and tell a little about what you found and were it was. Post that you currently have the cache. If you own a digital camera take a pic of were you found the cache and post it with your message.

When you have decided where the cache will go or what you need to change to it put it out and simply “Post a note” on this page and describe how to find it or what tools you will need ect… Also give it a rating for difficulty and terrain. When you have placed it …“Post a note” that you have placed it and give the new cords. I will then update the cords on this page to mach your new cords.

Make if fun and innovating. I want to see some creativity people!!!

We found the location at Cobbs Hill Reservoir. The last two words on the sign near the building are Radio Center. We relocated the cache to N43 06.145 W77 26.537. What was the significant function at this location between 1906 to 1931? What is at this location today?

The cache is loose again! A little snow, a little ice, a little wind....are you going to let Mother Nature keep you from the fun stuff??? I didn't think so, So step out on Sunday, February 9 and come find me. I won't disappoint anyone in the family if you come looking on that day. Terrain and Difficulty are rated a 1, unless you cache this on February 9, then the crowds may increase the difficulty to a 1.5, but who cares if anyone catches you finding it, cuz it's your chore to hide it again!

The travel cache is now in the possession of the Lyndon Road Gang! Went to check out the Christmas lights described and photographed by Peppermill 6-pack. WOW! I wonder how long it took to put up all those lights?!? Can that house be spotted by people travelling by plane? Will find a new home shortly and post co-ordinates. (need to let the cache log dry out some, it was a little damp).

Cache on in 2003!

Just hid the cache... if you would like to see one of my favorite christmas light displays on a house in this area, then this place is for you. Obviously, this cache is best retrieved after dark (not sure when lights are turned on or off, we were there at 10:30PM, they were still on)and probably within next 2 weeks before lights are gone (after that it can be retrieved, just no sight to see). Cache is within 20ft of the coords 43.03.667 77.26.326. Once you get there, it will be pretty obvious where this magnetic key case must be hidden, you do not have to trespass on anyone's property. May be a bit of a stretch to get it tho. Difficulty 1, Terrain 1.5
If you enjoyed this house, another one within 1/2 mile at 43.03.232 77.26.226 has a great display too (no cache there tho, just good looking).

Happy holidays!

Picked up cache at noon today while on lunch. Work within 1 mile of where it was under bridge on S. Winton. Cold day, but had to go for it... too close by to miss. Will relocate very quickly.

Well after nearly two months hiatus Where Am I is back. My wife and I hid it on our way home from a Christmas party, there I was in my suit coat and my pointy slippery as heck shoes so you can be assured you can’t over dress for this find.
43* 08.989 / 77* 35.183

Take a peek at the photo so you can get an idea what the roving cache might look like.

No tools are required to recover the cache and it is winter accessible, food joint nearby so bring your keen eyesight and an appetite for pie.
Terrain is a 1, even in dress shoes and the Difficulty is a 2.

Happy Holidays and Happy Hunting.

Headed out a little while ago to look for the cache and it was a good thing too. I foiled a robbery! Yup, I did. I parked pretty close by and as I got out I noticed several hooligans hanging around a fenced in area with one of them up on top with bolt cutters snipping away. Being the I got something to say about every situation I yelled at them to stop and of course they all 7 or 8 hooligans maybe there was 20? of them, rode off...on their bikes!) They were cutting their way into the bike storage for the Eastman students. Whew, that was close I thought maybe I wouldn't get to look for the cache. So I started wandering around looking for the area and found it without too much trouble, I had left the gps in car. Started my search and came upon more youngsters hanging out in the alley I don't know if they were guys or girls, I can't tell anymore between all the piercings and the real baggy clothes, short colorful hair and it was dark. Well, I guess my searching weirded them out because they soon took off. A couple minutes later I found the cache and asked a passing student to take my photo. As requested I looked for some small sticks to build a teepee with but all I could find was pigeon droppings so I was on my way.
I forgot to do two things, first I neglected to yell Huckle Buckle Wheelygood Beanstalk and secondly to check on my No Compromise No. 1 which is less than 1000' away. Duh

Thanks for the fun hide and 'Where Am I' will be hidden soon maybe as soon as Scrawny finds some other existing creatively hidden micro caches.
