Located where the Nine Mile Portage meets the Trans-Canada Trail just west of Barrie, Ontario. This area easily accessible and is bike friendly.

This is my first cache. The best way to access the site is to park in the lot at : 44º 23.650'N 79º 49.212'W and take the trail in. The container is a clear Rubbermaid container with a white lid.

The cache is only the icing on the cake though. There is over 300 years of history in this area and there plenty to see so enjoy and explore the area before seeking the treasure. The cache itself is semi-hidden beneath a fallen tree just off the trail. Please return it to its hiding place when you're done.
