Birds n Worms Cache

This cache was placed with the help of my Dad aka BoB, on 10.12.02 it was done during a 4 mile journey around part of Irondequoit Bay. The peanut butter jar container and log book are labeled Big Massaug Cache because of the cove it is located above but I like the name Birds n Worms better. The cache contains a stamp, an ink pad and of course a log book. Use the stamp to place a mark in your own log book and bring your stamp to place a mark in the cache log book. Please do not take the stamp or leave anything in the container.

Where you park and how you get to the cache area is strictly up to you, however parking anywhere on, under or near rt. 104 is illegal and your found it log will be deleted.

Remember it is your responsibility to respect the environment, do not remove or disturb anything, BoB suggests you bend over when looking for the cache.

The boys and I went searching for this one after school. Was a longer walk than I anticipated, but we made it. Adam gets credit for finding this one. Signed and stamped log. Thanks for the hide in a very pretty area.

Pouring rain today, but when you got the urge to cache, ya gotta cache!
Nice walk thru swamp, Bill loved the knee-deep mud hole he stepped in. We looked a mess, but we made it. Bill was 1st to find this cache at 2:10PM. Left our stamp in logbook.

Started taking the direct route to the nearby caches across bay, but decided that maybe hiking back car and driving OVER the bridge was much less dangerous (but not as exciting!)

Thanks for the hike!
