No Compromise No. 1 Cache is located very near to the Eastman Theater in beautiful downtown Rochester, NY. How many other caches can you hunt while on your way to or from seeing a world renown symphony, play or concert? To learn more about the Eastman Theater visit http://www.rochester.edu/Eastman/community_visitors/cv_concertsevents.htm This cache is another in my series of urban micro caches, I have copied the name from Rye_and_Leigh. The cache is a car key holder, hidden so it can be found by those that are looking for it and yet go un-noticed by those that past by it daily. Coords. were averaged from several readings but the sats. were not that strong when it was placed you may have to look for awhile. Remember what you are looking for. This is a very public location, please do not compromise the cache. You, and only you, can decide if you can grab the cache without drawing attention to yourself or the cache. The cache has room for a single log book and does not contain a pencil so you better bring your own, the only thing you are to leave is your John Hancock or mark. Save your comments for your online log and please return the cache as you found it so that others can enjoy looking for it. |

It felt really good to be able to make the find here. In the past two years I've been by at least 10 times, and each time there were just too many muggles around. I woke up early this morning and decided to spend some time taking an urban hike. Nobody around and I was able to grab the container after a brief search. Signed the log and returned the cache to it's spot.

Well, that was a clever hide. My eye just happended to look into that direction and "WAL-LAA", we found it!! My sidekick had to wait for the right time to get to it. We signed the log book and headed for No. 2 in the series. Nice hide...

First attempt here back in March faced two dozen war demonstrators with an equal number of Rochester police officers. Decided they did not need a geocacher wandering around in their midst. This time with only two people waiting for the bus and one music student reading the newspaper was able to search undetected and find this cunning cache.

Open Log: Personal use only Must get head examined to be out caching in a 30-degree downpour! Just can't give up the challenge of the hunt. Too much activity going on at the Theatre for us to really get down and dirty. Will return again, next time we'll shoot for an all out blizzard :)

Catching up on some old logs: how well I remember this one! It took me a couple of tries but I spotted it and finally nabbed it at 1:30 in the morning when the crowds were a bit more reasonable. :)

1st to find this one. Had to wait around a bit til coast was clear and some people cleared out - looked like one guy was there to stay for the night but he finally left, I think he got tired of us circling and staring at him, then went in for the find. Found at 7:10PM. Great hide, left our stamp.
