This is the Bi-Monthly meeting of the Upstate South Carolina Geocachers Association (USCGA). The January 2007 Meeting of the USCGA will be held at the Fire Mountain Grill in Spartanburg, SC.
The meeting time is from 11:00 a.m. til 2:00 p.m.

All geocachers interested in the Upstate of South Carolina are invited to attend. This includes all of our friends in neighboring states. Some of the most experienced geocachers in South Carolina will be available to answer questions for new geocachers. This is good opportunity to learn about geocaching, available technology, attend an event to become a member, and put names with faces in this region.

We will announce the Smiley Award winners, and will discuss upcoming special events, and possible group cache trips. As with our other meetings, there will be plenty of food, fun, and a few surprises.

We will also hold a raffle for door prizes. The raffle will be a winners-choice.

Our very own geocoin connoisseur, Rasj, will be manning a Travel-Bug swap-meet table, for those of you with hitch-hikers tagging along.

There is a growing number of caches in Spartanburg to find while you are in the area, so come join us on January 20!

Fire Mountain Grill is located in the midst of Dorman Plaza (the West-side Wal-Mart) near the intersection of Highway 29 and I-26. (Exit 21) When you arrive, tell the cashier you are with USCGA. They will take a 15% tip at the register (this will help with the last minute scramble for a tip in the end). An adult buffet with drink and tip will be $9.94. Obviously, it will not be as much for children.
