Hay que subir desde 890 m hasta 1135 m, por cerca de 1 kilómetro. Fácil de encontrar con la pista. Hay que caminar como media hora. You have to walk up from 890 m to 1135 m for about 3/4 of a mile. Easy to find with the hint. You have to walk about 1/2 an hour.
Este es el primer caché que escondo (cuando estaba en El Edén) y el propósito es obtener una primera apreciación del juego y poner a Caracas en el mapa del Geocaché. No se pierda el cercano Petroglifo indígena de La Julia (N 10.51177; W 066.81017). Puede también refrescarse en un pequeño salto, pasando El Edén (a unos 40 minutos hacia arriba) o en El Tanque (N10 30 42.5; W66 48 34.5). Llévese algunas hojas de eucalipto, déjelas secar y disfrute de un té medicinal. Puede observar o tomar fotos a los coloridos Querrequerres (Cyanocorax yncas), las escandalosas Guacharacas (Ortalis ruficauda) o los laboriosos pájaros carpinteros (Melanerpes spp). El Geocaché es un recipiente plástico, de 29 onzas, Lock & Lock, transparente, con una pequeña libreta bitácora, un lápiz, un bolígrafo y el inventario descrito mas abajo. INVENTARIO: 4 BARAJITAS DE BÉISBOL (LUIS APARICIO, ANTONIO ARMAS, LUIS LEAL, LLOYD MCCLENDON), UN LLAVERO, 9 MONEDAS VENEZOLANAS OBSOLETAS, 1 MONEDA DE ARUBA, 1 MONEDA DE BRASIL, 1 MONEDA DE COLOMBIA, 1 MONEDA DE EEUU, 1 MONEDA DE PERU, 4 BILLETES VENEZOLANOS OBSOLETOS DE Bs. 5, 1 BILLETE DE UN REAL BRASILEÑO, 1 PRENDEDOR DE LOS LEONES DEL CARACAS BÉISBOL CLUB, 1 CABALLO DE AJEDREZ, 1 BOLETO FÚTBOL DE UN CARACAS – TACHIRA, 1 SILBATO, 1 CUADRITO DE CERÁMICA VERDE. Si el sitio es descubierto, es decir si Ud. es descubierto en el proceso de encontrar o esconder el recipiente, entrégueselo al Guarda Parques Sr. Pedro Tenería, quien me lo devolverá. Cuando vaya en el camino de subida y llegue a N 10.50252; W 066.81010, siga el Camino de las Niñas de la izquierda, que es mas agradable. This is my first hidden cache (when it was at El Eden) and the purpose is to get a grasp of the game and to put my town into the geocache map. Don't miss the near by indigenous Petroglifo La Julia (N 10.51177; W 066.81017). You can also have a shower in the tiny falls passing El Eden (40 minutes walk up) or in El Tanque (N10 30 42.5; W66 48 34.5). Take home some eucalyptus leaves, let them dry and enjoy a medicinal eucalyptus tea. You can meet and/or take pictures of the colourful Querrequerre birds (Cyanocorax yncas), the vociferous Guacharacas (Ortalis ruficauda) or the laborious woodpecker (Melanerpes spp). The geocache is a plastic 29 oz. "Lock & Lock" container, transparent, with a small logbook, a pencil, a ballpoint and the inventory below. INVENTORY: 4 BASEBALL CARDS (LUIS APARICIO, TONY ARMAS, LUIS LEAL, LLOYD MCCLENDON), A KEYHOLDER, 9 OBSOLETE VENEZUELAN COINS, 1 COIN OF ARUBA, 1 COIN OF BRAZIL, 1 COIN OF COLOMBIA, 1 COIN OF USA, 1 COIN OF PERU, 4 OBSOLETE VENEZUELAN NOTES OF Bs 5, 1 BRAZILIAN REAL NOTE, 1 CARACAS LIONS BASEBALL CLUB PIN, 1 CHESS HORSE, 1 CARACAS-TACHIRA FOOTBALL TICKET, 1 WHISTLE, 1 LITTLE GREEN CERAMIC PIECE. If the site get busted, that is, if you get caught uncovering or hiding again the box, just give it to the Park Guard Mr. Pedro Tenería. He will return it to me. When going up and you arrive at N 10.50252; W 066.81010, follow the nicer "Little girls trail" on the left. |
