Odin was the king of the gods in Norse mythology. He held court in Valhalla, the most magnificent palace in Asgard, with the slain heroes brought by the Valkyries. This useless bit of trivia is a very vague hint to where the cache will be found.

The coordinates at the top of the page will land you in the midst of a mini-Greensburg where you will have to do a little research before you can solve the puzzle that will yield coordinates to the final cache. Geocachers with children should bring them along because you're going to look pretty silly lurking around the Town Village Playscape otherwise. This is paybacks for all of the creepy stares I have received while hunting caches in suburban playgrounds.

The final coordinates are: 40 18.ABC', -79 34.XYZ'

A = number of windows in rear wall of fire station
B = number of windows in the yellow house with blue trim
C = number of slides on playground

X = number of windows in church
Y = number of windows in rear wall of bank
Z = number of windows in city hall

Hint: The final coordinates should be no more than 500 feet from the playscape and there is absolutely no reason that you should be crossing the golf course to get to them.

Good luck! You're going to need it!

Warning! I'm going to apologize for this hide in advance. It's the kind of cache that only an elf could love. I was going to hide this thing somewhere else but nobody should ever have to encounter a cache like this after a long death march into the wilderness. I expect that many will not find this cache on the first try so I'll offer additional hints to anybody who logs a DNF. Please do not attempt this cache if you are not prepared to fail!

Yep, I'll take the blame for the calculation error. I somehow missed one of the windows on the church, so Urkel and I searched on the edge of the golf course, but not on it. Thankfully there was nobody around to see us looking like idiots. Once I had the correct coords, we began our search. I'd say about 10-15 minutes later Urkel made the find, which was pretty rare for this trip. Thanks for the very nice hide!

Yup, we found it! I hadn't really received any hints at Burning Micro IV, other than it was well camoflauged. Found after about 10 minutes of stumbling around in the woods (after a wrong calculation lead us near, but not on, the golf course). The 9 yr. old was freaking out, he found a Captain Underpants book which he claims he couldn't find at the local Barnes and Noble. I threw in some stuff that I'd consider an equal trade, although I have no recollection what they were. Cache is in excellent shape inside and out, bone dry, including some comic books. Thanks for the cache QM.

used to drink alot of beer it this park back in '79-80. Nice hide QM, but I spotted it quickly having figured it out once I saw the area. a little clue was showing so I hid it real good! Well stocked with swag didn't have any trades though. Good one for the kiddies to get the first stage, mom or dad can help with the 2nd. Thanks QM, nice hide, as always!

I checked on this cache today to find it in good shape and VERY well hidden. The fact of it not being found for such a long time is really setting somebody up for a challenge!

It wasn't reported in the media but it appears that the Town Village terrorists blew up the court house and hospital. The puzzle has been modified to compensate for this terrible tragedy. Cache on!

Took a short walk after work. Did the counting in the little town, punched in the coordinates, then went a searchin. This one was a tricky one as I wasn't really sure what I was looking for. But found it in the end! This one is definitely one of my favorites! TFTC!

I made emergency repairs to the cache and returned it to its proper hiding spot. It's not the best repair job but I think it will hold for awhile. Please be gentle with the cache and try to put it back exactly where you found it. Johnny.

Another quality cache by QM. Really enjoyed the puzzle and the area. Once I got the coords I found it faily easily. I have finally paid tribute to Odin.

Oh, Man, what a good hide! Our 5th and final for the day. Moogirl and I ended up using flashlights to find this one! We got to the village around 7:30 PM. We figured out the coordinates and when we went looking for the cache, we saw another family in that area, so we waited until they were done. We talked to them for a little while and turns out, they did not find the cache. Oh-oh. Now darkness was closing in so we had to get moving! Like I said, we ended up breaking out the flashlights and finally found the cache. This has got to be the best hide I've seen so far! Very nicely set up!
This was my daughter, Moogirl's, first Quest Master cache. She can't wait to meet him at Burning Micro II and tell him how much she enjoyed this one.

Moogirl took some hair ties and some green Play-Doh and I took a little Pirate Parrot. We left a Good Luck coin, a bouncy ball and a green frog. We signed the log and hid the cache right back where we found it!

Thanks for a challenging, but fun hide, QM!

Hey QM, you need to find another job, another hobby, or something to keep you busy so you won't have so much time on your hands to think up devious caches like this one.

No long hike up steep hills, no water to ford just one of the best hidden caches I have ever seen. Spent 30 minutes crawling and climbing over and around the pile. Saw the cache right away but didn't imagine that could be it, but it was.

This rates as the best hunt and find of my short geocaching career. Thanks much for such a challenge.

Decided late in the day to give this one a try. Can't do any better than taking on a QM cache to start the new year.

Unfortunately we got to the mini Greensburg about 3.05 pm and saw on the gate that closing time was 3.30 pm. Got the coordinates for the final cache okay but because of a lack to time before the gate closing we decided to wait until another nice day to look for the final cache.

Thanks QM for a cache without water to ford! Looking forward to exploring the rest of this park and finding the final cache.

2:31PM - Whole family went out today with friends Chris and Sean of 3FunSeekers. We got to the playscape this time the correct way and found the info we needed to get to the final. Good thing mom was along on this one, we were searching for 10-15 minutes with no luck, she came down to the area, and found it right away. Very interesting container! Chris and Sean took skateboarder and slime, KJ took marbles and Serena took soap. L: superball, 2 playdoh, many army men and a purple hair tie. The cache was pretty low on stash. TFTC Johnny!

Last of 4 for the Nellsnake crew on a cold, blustery and wet Saturday. By the time we got over to this one, the snow and wind was really picking up. We enjoyed touring the little village and were able to gather the needed clues without difficulty. We then took a short stroll over to the final cache and started looking around among the numerous potential hiding spots. Like Willow, I instructed my sons to look for anything that looked slightly out of the ordinary. However, it was Nellsnake Mom who gleefully scored the find within a few minutes of poking around. Very clever! We marveled at the craftsmanship of the container, signed in at ~4 p.m., and then rehid it in what we presumed was the intended orientation. We then drove over to the nearby Bruster's for a treat before heading home. As always, thanks, QM!

After failing twice, today I got the joyfulness of having found my first puzzle cache, and a Questmaster puzzle cache no less.

Anyway, I was at the orthodontist today to get my braces off, and I had about a two hour wait after they were off before my retainer was finished and so we went out caching, armed with greater knowledge than before, and of course two massive flashlights.

We got to the spot and got out the flashlights, after walking around for a few minutes my dad's flashlight caught something that didn't quite look right, and of course it was the cache.

We took the Geocaching pin and an emergency whistle and left a pair of camo gloves and a poncho.

Thanks for an AWESOME cache...

What a way to start the weekend, found my first Quest Master cache and was surprised to find that the FTF cacher had placed a YJTB in the cache also. Took the family and had the kids check out the playground with me so as not to draw notice to myself. Definitely bring a child with you as the cache page suggests or you will most definitely get some strange looks from people. Left the kids with mom while I went in search of the cache. I was actually looking in the general area when after about 10 minutes of searching with a useless GPS (absolutely no signal for awhile) I looked at the clue. I was in the correct area, it just took me a few more minutes to find the cache. Great hide, cache has some interesting items in it. If this cache is an indicator of what to expect from a QM cache hunt, I'll have to put his caches at the top of my list! SL, took the Yellow Jeep Travel Bug, and left a set of new TB dog tags for someone to create their own travel bug. Thanks for the hunt and great cache!
