An easy trip along the back roads of Southern New Jersey.
Electric Boogaloo Nestled in the shadow of one of New Jersey's five remaining coal-fired power plants, this electrically-themed cache started out featuring Pikachu, the electric mouse-type Pokémon, along with an assortment of household electrical devices and other fun stuff. Don't expect a smog bank. This wooded area along the bay is clean and pleasant. There's a public boat ramp and a great spot to park the car and have lunch while watching the inlet traffic. If it's warm, you may even want to go into the water. You'll want to wear long pants to grab this cache, but it's easy to find and requires only very minor bushwhacking. Resist the temptation to hit it from the Garden State Parkway, it's too dangerous. Just relax and check out the pre-1957 route to the Jersey Shore. |

Drove all the way in and parked a very short distance from the cache. It was indeed an easy find, as advertised. Most of the effort was in avoiding the thorny branches going in. Thanks.

This was an easy find, but I should have remained in my car. I parked by the water. Nevertheless, it was a pleasant walk.

Found it! I kinda bushwhacked my way in but found an easier way out without so many prickerbushes by going just a little farther along after the cache. Just a few feet made a difference. This was a very nice location, scenic, with quite a few dog-walkers and fisherfolk along the way in. I've passed by the area so many times that it was even cooler seeing what was down here!
