This is a two step multi-cache. See instructions below under the title, The Geocache.
This is a beautiful place to relax by yourself or with your family or a very special loved one. It wouldn't surprise me to see a wedding here someday. The special creatures you see here are actually decendants of aliens from the planet Venus before it became unlivable. (See the geocache, "Alien Escape".) In America, when the European invaders asked Indians what they called themselves, they usually answered in their various languages, "We the People". The Europeans misunderstood them and made up their own names for them, that we still use today. eg. Navajos (meaning "thieves"), Apaches (meaning "enemies"), Pima (meaning "I don't know") Anasazi (meaning "ancient enemies"), Papagos (meaning "bean eaters"), etc. are all names that we gave to them and not what they called themselves. The same thing happened to the aliens from Venus when they landed in what we now call California. When they were asked what they called themselves, they answered with, "Your neighbors from Venus". So Americans misunderstood what they meant and started calling them with the same name as one of our North American neighbors and it's been that way ever since. Now that you know who they really are, you can enjoy them even more than you have before. THE GEOCACHE The above coordinates take you to the first step of the multi-cache. At those coordinates, you will find a two digit number in plain sight. Add that two digit number to the last three digits of both the west coordinates and the north coordinates listed here: N 38° 32.643 W 121° 24.368 These converted coordinates give you the location of the final cache. Initial contents of geocache are: Salamander Large Nasty Spider (Watch your fingers!) Logbook GEOCACHING NOTICE: There is no need to go on other side of fence. |
