Our final cache for the morning as we worked our way home. It was a quick find and despite its name (Sea Life) I did not “see any signs of life” in the cemetery located adjacent to this hide. Lucas and I are experiencing a “Huckle hangeover” (3rd Huck cache this morning). All were great.
Thanks again buddy

I was on my way to Arcade and thought I would give this one a try. I was succesful after about a 10 minute search and I signed the log book. I took a crayfish to ride around in my truck with me. Nice hide and thanks for placing the cache! -Paleoman52-

4:45am. Yes. You read right.

It was 4:45am, and I found myself bleary-eyed staring at the computer in that kind of vegetative state where you find all time and space sort of hovering in limbo around you. Yes, this is what I'm like at 4:45am...and I don't drink coffee (I probably should discover S-Bux huh?).

So in preparing for the Breakfast at Earls Event, and checking any last minute emails from attendees, I see this new cache like 4 miles from my house. In my fuzzy little state I mumbled, "No, of all days not today!", and proceed to inform Chicky that if she can be ready in "less than one second" (as I put it), we might be able to get this cache before our 6am stint at Earls.

Sound completely insane doesn't it?!? With that in mind, we fast forward 15 minutes and I find myself driving down East Arcade road. The rain from the night before combined with my now borderline defunct windshield wipers and the newly paved road (sans a center stripe!) made for a rather interesting drive to the cache location. But we made it, a few hairy curves and a scratch or two on my lower passenger side door molding (damn high road shoulders!) later. So knowing we probably shouldn't be late for our own event, Chicky and I head out and in fairly short order locate the cache. There was no cover on it, so it was a pretty easy spot at 5:30am (thank god! haha).

So we signed the log, and I attempted to rehid it better than I had found it with some brush around the cache spot. I never EVER thought I'd go caching before a 6am event....Ha! Thanks Huck, I know this spot has been crying out to you from afar (all the way to Huckville WS!!!). Hehe.

Now...OFF TO EARLS before we're late!!!!
