This is a really nice woodlot. Found the cache quickly. Took stobe light and left a used Buffalo Bisons Baseball. My thanks to the owner of the property and to Huck.

Tonight was just one of those, "I really want to get out and cache" kind of nights. Unfortunately however, Chicky is still feeling the brunt of an allergic reaction to a late night caching expedition yesterday (we think it was an organic reaction and not the act of caching with the Noggs...hahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha), so she wasn't getting that geo-feelin'.
So after a little hemming and hawing, it was decided she'd go along for the ride and wait in the car while I got my geo-thang on. It wasn't a long walk, so she decided to sit in my chariot listening to Kiss 98.5 (or whatever it is she listens too when I'm not paying attention...hahaha).

We took the roundabout way to the parking cords since I wasn't sure the best route to get there. I have been down in this area more times then I could ever fathom, so it was a nice surprise to find myself on a road I have never been down before. Happily we had found the right way to the parking cords, and in short order I was out of the car heading towards the cache (with Chicky in the car laughing at me because I initially starting walking the wrong way Hehe).

After a short walk though some beautiful woods, I found the cache quickly to my amusement. Great hiding spot HB, without a doubt an aptly named cache. So after a few minutes of reading P-Man's log and rifling through a treasure trove of Dollar Tree goodies, I replaced the cache and spent a brief moment taking in the sights (knowing full well Chicky was back at the car probably wondering where the heck I went...haha).

This area is magnificent, especially after the brief rain shower we had earlier in the day. The woods were damp, and the whole area around me was a great old forest (with just a smidgen of fog thrown in for the perfect effect). It certainly was a Hollywood movie moment.

Thanks Huck for a nice spot, and for sharing this little slice of heaven with us. Thank the landowners as they have a gorgeous spot here (perfect for kickin' back and havin' a cold one ).

PS - Oh, and a little note for the Noggs, Ravenspond and Poker Pals - the cords for this puppy are spot on.

Great cache! I had a little extra time during my lunch hour so I shot over to find this cache and to see if I could possibly be the honored FTF. I found the parking spot and then entered the cache coordinates. I spotted the way in to the forest right away. Once my GPS said that I had arrived, I didn't see what I thought I would be looking for, so I expanded my search and there it was, in a place that I wouldn't have expected it to be. Nice hide! You had me going in circles for a little while. Anyway I opened the cache and found the log book and I slowly opened it to see who had beaten me to it, Yes! nobody had beaten me too it so I got to claim FTF on this cache, Awesome! HB Thanks for the fun cache to find, it was a good time and when you get the chance and you are in Castile be sure to do my caches! I left the dog tag travel bug in there to move it along. -Paleoman-
