Come on take a walk…an urban ART WALK!

Art Walk is our latest urban cache and we think you will enjoy this one. Bring the whole family, even if you do not find the cache there are plenty of other things to see, find and do. Micro cache is conveniently located near several pieces of public art, a playground, a restaurant, shops and a metal artist’s showroom. It is our hope that while you “bag” our cache you will stop and take a few minutes to explore this unique area.

Cache contains a solitary pad for your John Hancock and nothing else except for our small 1st to find favor. Please save your thoughts and comments and share them in your online log.

Here is the hard part, the cache is out in a very public space and you cannot be obvious looking for or finding the cache. If being unobtrusive and circumspect
is not your style than please pass this one up.

Good Luck and Do Not Get Caught Caching

Catching up with recording caches...
Thank you for having an excuse to drag Mebbe here! I love this area and of course I had to check out my favorite stores there ;-) !!!
Nice hide, brought others here later to do this cache.
Again, Thanks for a great spot!

I am still catching up on some back logs. I have been bad about checking this site when making my logs. My wife and I found this one on 8/23/04.

Well after 8 long months, we decided to tackle our "no-finds". We took a break from the caches that are emmersed in thorns and ivys. I think it was our learning experience over past months that made this cache a success. I'm not kindin' when I say to y'all that we found this cache inside of 60 seconds!!!! We planned on spending an hour trying to look for this one, so Bearcub asked if he could playground. I sat on the bench. Just then a squirrel ran out from underneath the play area. He stopped not 5 feet from me and stared me dead in the face. Then he took a few more steps and jumped onto the bench right near me!! He looked me dead in the face again!! He then ran up a tree as we left the area to search for another "no-find". It was a georgous morning and it couldn't be any better.

My first "real" micro. Was in the neighborhood on business. I got to hand it to you, this was a very clever and colorful hide! My last cache find of the summer.
I added a new logbook for future cachers after reading the Garford Gang entry. Weird coincidence or lucky guess but it turned out to be the exact size as original!

Went to look for this on the first nice weekend this spring. This was our first find, and was somewhat frustrating until we found it. Very clever hiding place, and definitely out in public.

So this is where the sunlight has been hiding. Bright, sunny day just like my seat in the park. Thanks for getting me out and about.

I liked this cache. Challenging, sure, but at least for me the coords were right on and I couldn't get too distracted by all the cool stuff to see. After a busy start to the day I needed the respite that this cache offered. Nice hide!

This one had us stumbling all over each other. My wife and I, two of my sons and their girlfriends and we met HFJohn and a friend of his who were searching when we arrived. With 3 GPS, we all seemed to be getting different readings and the readings seem to change quite a bit rather quickly. Don`t know if we were getting some kind of interference from something or what.Anyway one of the girls found the cache and we all headed for Get Fresh. It was nice to meet up with a fellow cacher.

Father and son trip this time (no bushwacking, sure I'll go Dad!). Knew where to look when we got out of car. Had my 9yr old look for me (w/ flashlight, its our 1st nighttime cache hunt). Of course, he didn't find it. Searched around a while more, GPS kept pointing back to original spot. I finally looked myself this time, spotted cache. Another 1st find! Found at 8:55PM.

Thanks for the hide!
