This is a small camoed cache about the size of a quart jar hidden in Va-Du-Mar McMillan Memorial Park. This is the area's newest park, the park features A disc golf course, a large fenced in playground, and several soccer fields. Enjoy the park and the hunt!

FTF! And I earned it too. The last 40ft was bareback because my GPS unit was caked with so much mud that it was useless. I think of it as karma. This was my reward for hiding the Gretchen.

I made my way to the park, making note of how nice of a place it is. I have never been there before even though I live only a few short miles away. Once there, I started heading for the cache. When I got close, I could tell that I was on the wrong side of the "tree line" and decided to use a man made path to cross over. It was down hill. It had just rained. I had on tennis shoes...

Do you know how fast things run through your mind when faced with imminent danger? Afterwards you can clearly remember having thoughts that would normally take several seconds, but you had them in a millisecond. That happened to me as I made my decent. The hill was only about 4-5 feet high, and not a bad slope at all. The slick mud however made it more exciting. When I felt my foot first start to slip, the thoughts that ran through my ming were...
"Oh S*&t Im gonna fall... no wait... Im good. OH S**T IM GONNA FALL!... Whew! I caught myself... OH S..."
<WHAM!!> I hit the muddy ground with a thud. My GPS was embedded half way into the mud. My remote start keychain was also buried. After a few seconds, I realized that I was still alive, and hopped up before anyone had a chance to see me. From that point on, my GPS was useless. I tried to clean off the mud but to no avail. One of the buttons was stuck "pressed in" so the thing just wouldnt respond at all.

I managed to find the cache though right at dark. I signed the log and took nothing. I hope that I re-hid it well because i did not have a light and by the time I hid it, it was almost completely dark.

Thanks for the cache SweetOleBob.
