Best access point is the small boat launch on west side of Emerson Park (many maps name it Melrose Park) in Cayuga County.
Container is rather small 4in X 2in X 1.5in and contains small fishing supplies. Be very careful when opening cache not to drop anything...and be sure to return it to exact, original position. |

Looks like I'm following daseekers last two logs they were right in front of me. Found this around 2:20 PM....this one was very cool. Had to do this in cognito since they were getting ready for the big race on Sunday. Comments on Geocache.com

This turned out to be a hard cache. We found the cache location easy enough, but there was people everywhere. We went back after doing 2 other caches and got this one. We took a light green frog and signed in. Thank you for a fun day in a great park.

Tried this one when it was in the water. But I was not prepared to walk into Owasco Lake that day. Glad to see that it is temporarily on land. A little hesitant at first, not wanting to sink. But all worked out well.

This looks like an interesting cache. I stopped by today since Auburn is pretty much on the way from Ithaca to Webster and had a look. Could not look very hard because of folks in the area and I did not want to draw any attention to my activities. I hope to get back soon.
