Ebenezer Baptist Church was formed on May 9, 1806 from members of; Coles Creek Church in LA, Black Creek Church of S. Carolina, Welch Neck Church of S. Carolina, Ebenezer Church of S. Carolina and Bark Camp Church of Georgia. It is the oldest active Baptist Church in Mississippi.
Just a short walk to the edge of the woods and be sure to watch were your step. The cache is a rubbermaid container in the edge of the woods. It gets covered with leaves and dirt over time, so a little light digging my be necessary. I wouldn't go here on a Sunday morning before lunch or Wednesday evening's. Might be a few people around. |
