This cache is on the six-and-a-half mile trail through Little Manatee River State Park's Northern Wilderness.

The park operates 365 days a year from Sunrise to Sunset.

This cache was placed by a member of the Florida Geocaching Association.

The park is located four miles south of Sun City Center, off U.S. 301 on Lightfoot Road. You will have to go to the main park entrance on Lightfoot road and tell them you want to hike the Northern Wilderness Trail. They will give you directions to the access gate and combination.

Not many people seem to know about this section of the park and it is well worth the visit.

Bring water and deet.

The container is a silver micro.

This is one of our favorite spots.
