A regular cache in a preserved open space area, off of Rt 130 No. in Washington Twnshp. This area is maintained by the New Jersey Fish & Wildlife Service.
This is a nice cache to take older kids, but not small children, as it is necessary to walk 5-10 minutes down some trails through the woods, and up and down a few small hills. There is just a bit of bushwacking at the end. There is fishing in the area. You may encounter deer, small game and nice birds too. Please park at the following coordinates: N 40 14.143, W 074 35.201 The cache is hidden in a 50mm Ammo Can. I am calling this cache Needful Things because I would like to maintain fairly high quality and useful cache contents. I am starting it off with some useful stuff. No little trinkets or keychains, smurfs, hotwheels cars, or toy soldiers. Of course, Travel Bugs are always welcome. I would really like to keep the cache maintained with useful items, in working condition. That is its theme. If you arrive at the cache with nothing particularly useful, it is fine to Take nothing, Leave nothing, Take your picture with the enclosed camera and Sign the log.
