At Paint Creek lake on a small island near the beach.Boat is necessary or you can swim about 300 yards from the beach
Large tupperwear container full of trade items.No McToys,all good stuff.Container is painted olive drab but won't be hard to spot if you get close.Most of us will never be able to go on a real honest to goodness treasure hunt like we have all read and dreamed about. We just don’t have the time or money for lengthy expeditions, safaris and such. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could go on a treasure hunt and never leave Ohio? Well don’t despair folks. Good ole Wounded Knee has come up with a plan. He has hidden a treasure chest (cache for short) on a deserted island. There is no money or Gold in the cache but there is some pretty good geoswag. This one is perfect for someone with a small inflatable boat or raft. Or you can just swim over from the beach. Wear a life jacket of course. In any case you will need long pants because of the weeds. Enjoy |
