A walk in the Blackwater valley. Find tickets for Geocache and mini-cache by identifying tree types.

A walk in the Blackwater valley. Find tickets for the Main Geocache and mini-cache by identifying tree types.

The Blackwater River flows from Rowhill Nature Reserve south of Aldershot past Farnborough, Frimley, Camberley, Yateley and Eversley, into the River Loddon at Swallowfield and near the start of our "MysTree" trail. Further details about the Blackwater Valley can be found at http://www.hart.gov.uk/guide/countryside/gd_blac.htm

The starting ticket is near a large coppiced Hazelnut tree, on the north bank of the river. These tickets have the location stamped into aluminium strips, be sure to read them carefully in low light levels.

There are two caches. The mini-cache and the ticket, with the location of the main cache are located together.
The mini-cache is a small sized tupperware box filled with small toys.

The large cache is a larged size tupperware box that contains:loads of great stuff including;

- A tin of custard pie foam
- Car windows shade
- A rubber torch
- Small rubber torch
- Florence travel-bug (recently moved from Pembrokeshire)
- Harry Potter stickers
- Monsters Inc stickers
- A geometry set
- clown erasers
- some very "flash" highlighter pens

I know there's not loads of stuff for grown-ups, but the children should enjoy it - And the walk is great!

Please be careful when putting back the mini-cache. Make sure it cannot be seen too easily.
