The reward is worth the effort. You’ll have a view of “Olympic proportions”. The cache is hidden about 1/3 of a mile from the highway. A good parking location is N 41º 14.207’ W 111º 48.896’. There’s a faint trail leading up the mountain but it peters out in some places. Last part of the hike is really steep; the elevation gain is 300 ft.

All items in the cache vary in worth but most are brand-spanking new. If you decide to take something, please leave something of equal or greater value so that the cache will continue to attract other avid geocachers. You’re going to deserve something nice (other than the spectacular view and clear lungs) after getting to the top!

Great view on this clear fall afternoon. The cache was the easy part of the adventure ... hunting railside benchmarks in Morgan county was really over the top 8-/
