This is a traditional cache hidden in Veterans Park in Lexington, KY. The cache is in a round Rubbermaid container with a camouflaged lid. Park by the Southeastern Babe Ruth Complex (signs in the park will direct you to it.) Starting from outside the park will involve trespassing. Expect any or all of the following: thorns, tall weeds, brambles, ticks, poison ivy, burrs, thorns, wild animals, thorns, insects, spiders—did I mention thorns? Dogs love this part of the park. Be careful not to make a trail when finding this cache. I will move it without warning to another spot if I notice a social trail developing to the hiding place. Thanks to the Lexington-Fayette County Division of Parks and Recreation for letting me place this cache. Pratum is Latin for “meadow”. |

Now those are alot of thorns and nettles. Luckily I was warned and came dressed for success, pants and longsleeves, yet I still came out with one bad prick in my thumb.
