Nice walk. A little steep in places. You may want to avoid steep ledges when conditions become icy. This cache is worth the hunt. We've included things for children, dogs and a few things for the ladies. The real treasure however is the hike and the view, so don't cheat yourself. Be sure to take the short walk to the north and take in the sights. |

Today was an absolutely gorgeous day. The leaves were turning, the sky was clear and blue, and the water was so clear we could see far out into the lake. Thank you for showing this place to us. We never knew the Bluffs were here. It has to be one of the best kept secrets in the area.

Open Log: Personal use only This was an AWESOME hide! GREAT location and we enjoyed the trek. It was a bit difficult and deserves the rating of three. We were there earlier in the day and a thunderstorm hit and drove us away. We came back later in the day and found it just before sunset. It was wet and sticky but had lots of fun. Cache is in good shape and we took a few items but left a whole bunch more!

A group of us were in the park today. We had a great time with friends, one of whom gave us the coordinates for this hide. Although it hasn't been logged online in quite a while, there were several entries in the log book after the last online log. Mystery cachers? Who knows... Anyway, we signed the log. Cache is in good condition. Thanks for getting us there.

Wow, been exactly 1 year since this one was found (someone was in log book for May 31,2003 but didn't post online). Covered in dirt and worms, good camo :) But, Sue (Lyndon Rd Gang) and I did find it at 2:25PM among alot of vegetation to walk thru (area looks completely different than pic posted on site obviously from Fall season). Box is still dry and in great shape. Thanks for another great Bluff find!

Forgot what a great place this is. Haven't been here for almost 20 years. Thanks for getting us back. Walked the beach until it ran out, then walked the upper trail to the end. Finally got to the cache. Took nothing, left nothing.

Found this one without to much difficulty as we had 4 additional family members with us on the virgin find. Nice day for a hike and I am always amazed at how much the bluffs change from year to year. We left a SBA sticker and a smiley face super ball and took a photo and some silly putty.

Found this cache about 10:40am. Weather was very nice with Temps around 55* and a little mist of rain in the air. With all the colors coming from the tree's and the water being like glass it couldn't have gotten any better. I took well over 50 pictures of the area before and after the Cache hunt. The bluff's were outstanding to look at with a nice back drop to the scenes. Your coordinates were dead on with my Magellan 330X showing 4ft while at the cache location. I also took my Garmin map76 which showed 23ft while at cache location and this was with the Garmin external antenna plugged into it. Caron (Mother in law) was with me and she was using the Garmin IIIPlus which did well at the cache locatiuon also with a flux between 20 and 10 ft while sitting above the cache. | |
