About a half mile hike round trip. Pretty area all year, lots of critters, some majestic, if you watch for them. Will encounter brambles and thorns, prepare for this and you'll be pleased with the TREQ!
Parking is possible at 45 01.902 092 35.614. There is a bit of a field trail, or two, leading from the parking area, but these tend to fragment as you near a woods-line. You may be required to navigate though some sizable thickets with thorns, much more so in the summer. Paddling is a viable alternative to avoid the thorns. Take approriate precautions regarding caching near public hunting grounds. No real tricks to this cache, but it is interesting. The original cache inlcudes: Logbook, 2 pencils, $2 bill, $1 gold coin, 1 YMCA Locker Token and eight famous TB's from various caches. |
