Originally placed by Buffalolawyer and Buffalotom, this cache came up for adoption, and there was no way I could refuse.
If you started at A View to Nature, walk along the power lines until you find the second trail South...not the trail that starts through a meadow....BUSHWACKING to this site is extremely discouraged...watch out for leaping deer...one nearly clocked me as I hid the cache! If you haven't found the cache, the hint will give you landmarks...be aware that once you get close, you will need to cross a six foot wide SOMEWHAT frozen canal by either walking on a log or, if you are like me, sitting on the log and slowly inching across...DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS THE CANAL BY WALKING ON THE ICE!!! It's never THAT frozen...

Open Log: Personal use only Found with the adoptive cache owner on this date, while he, myself and SF1 changed out the ruined cache, which was a plastic shoebox at the time. I'd actually found it before then, but had never logged as a find because even back then, *I* was hoping to adopt it!! The moral of the story is, you can't just drop a cache in the woods, and never visit it again :-).
