In the world of Harry Potter, Wingardium Leviosa is a spell which causes an object to levitate. We first saw this spell used by Hermione Granger as she levitated a feather in Professor Flitwick’s class. Wouldn’t it be fun to be able to do this? If you get stuck behind a slow person in front of you in traffic - Wingardium Leviosa! They are out of your way! Moving to a new place? Forget about breaking your back moving boxes... Wingardium Leviosa! Just float the boxes to the moving truck! The possibilities are endless...

The parking area is located at N 43 07.994º /W 078 43.476º. To get to this cache, you may choose to cross over a spillway “bridge”. It will give you a great view of the water heading down to the canal. There is a handrail only on one side, so if you do not like heights without the safety of handrails on both sides, I suggest turning left at this point and taking the roundabout way to the proper trail. Also, at one point you will need to cross a small stream. As long as you do not try after a rain, it is possible to cross without getting wet. However, if you are not one for creative stream-hopping, you may want to consider bringing your swamp boots or leave an extra pair of shoes and socks back at your Geo-Mobile... There is no bushwhacking until the last 50 feet.

This is a small cache, so if you intend to trade, think on the small side. Please replace the cache as you found it.

Found while out caching on a beautiful day in the Amherst/Lockport area with Mr. Midnight.

Took us a while to get to where we needed to be to get to this cache with out lots of bushwacking.
Mr. Midnight made use of the small stream to clean all the mud off his shoes.
Cool container in a very nice area.

No Trade - TFTC - Nice Hide.

I'm marking today's calendar as Unnecessary Bushwhacking Day because I did alot of it on the way to this one and Urkel's alternative geocaching site hide. This was another excellent hide that I enjoyed. Naturally I found the easier way to reach the cache area on the way out. Pretty muddy and wet in some spots, but nothing crazy. Glad we have another type of these hides in the area again. Good work, TFTC. TNLN.

3rd TF!! Cool hide, very interesting/ingenious container. although, i had to leave the team behide at a certain point, i managed to levitate over on the direct route to snag it solo. that was fun & we just loved the slop & muck today on our 2 mile tour of mud alley. a little mucky water definetly doesn't ever stop team madmann

Was shocked to FTF this, a full 12 hours after listing on geocaching.com; but FTF it I did. Ended up on the wrong side of an obstacle at first, but found my way over. This is a great hide, Gryff, thanks for the cache. Took a small pepsi pen (great for micros or small caches), left a carabiner.
