The history of the steel mill here in scioto county
and that it was the first steel mill in New Boston dating back in the 1800's. It was used for the WWII with the boom ships 1945. If you would like to know more come and visit
this place and see more..

A neat little memorial to the long gone industry that kept this area alive. I worked for a brief time in the large green building when they tried to run a trailer hitch factory, long enough to watch it shut down. The log sheet busted the side out of the plastic baggie so I replaced it with another. Thanks.
