"St. John's (Lily) is located in Harrison Township and is maintained by the Catholic Church in Wheelersburg... Another peaceful and interesting cemetery that reminds us of our pioneering ancestry and the strong role the church played in developing this country...

Dating through the 1800's, the historical head markers remind us to think of those that went on before us... Historic communities such as Dixon and others that surround this place have names no longer recognized by this generation... These communities saw families such as Dills, Wolfes, Hoffmans, Conrads, Emnett and Niner who were hard working folk... They have found their final resting place here, behind a wooden cross... The rolling hills and nearby pond create serenity for your visit...

The Township Listing for Cemeteries names this place "St. John's (Lily) while other lists of cemeteries name it "Saint John's Cemetery"... "St. John's Lily is officially known as Gladiolus Communis, a flowering plant... Such Lilys bloom here... Webster's Dictionary describes some "places" as being "Lily" because they resemble a lily in purity and beauty... When you find this one you will probably think it represents that well...

The hide is through the two blue posts at the main road and straight back towards the trees...Cache includes (2) Statehood Quarters; (2) Army Men and a Log Book...
