1st cache is a film container and inside you will find the coords for the next cach.
2nd cache is a 55 cal. ammo box painted dark blue with my calling card sprayed on both sides. Inside are the usual goodies, a camera and a log book. Really nice clean trails. Plus there are 2 Benchmarks near by! |

Another personal coup! Not only is this my 100th find, (on Geocaching.com), but this was a DNF back in the spring and I have wanted to complete this one ever since! Sue and Jerry from Heavy Jester accompanied me along the trail today. Sue made the huckle on this one! She's good! Jerry and I just read our GPSrs and pointed. L-a bug repellant wipe cuz you're going to need it in there, a yellow clip and a kazoo! T-a jack o lanter reflector and the full camera. Will get the pics developed and post them here in a couple days! Thanks, ScrawnyJay for a great cache and I'm glad this one was my 100th!!! It was doubly nice to have Heavy Jester along for the celebration.

I had to keep cool at times as people were walking the trails all around me. I finally found the first part and quickly headed towards the second part. It didn't take me long to find this part. I was really hesitent of going in and getting the cache. It was thick and looked like it was crawling with Poison Ivy. (Me and that stuff don't get along). Traded a tape measure for a hotwheel. Bearcub was here in spirit today.

Open Log: Personal use only This was our first attempt at geocaching. It may have been a bit too difficult to find a small film canister on our first time out. We had no problem finding the coordinates, but spent almost an hour searching before our kids (and we)decided to call it quits.

Open Log: Personal use only Found at 5:50pm...good thing, not much daylight after work these days. Sue found the film canister and Steve found the cache. Took caribeener with compass on it and left a manicure set. Been to this park every 4rth of July for the fireworks and this is the first time I ever knew there were trails in the park. Enjoyed the hide, thanks much!! Huckle Buckle Beanstalk. Sue (SueShe) and Steve.

1st attempt. Went with my wife and step-son. We couldn't find the canister, but we were close. It started to get dark so we'll go back another day. Thanks George for letting me borrow your GPS. Should be fun this weekend.

Found at 3:10PM. Finding the film canister was pretty tough, but coords right on. Like finding a needle in a haystack. Did find a World Cup '94 baseball cap right near it, so if anyone lost a hat, I put it on main trail nearby (looked very well-loved but definitely needs to be washed after the rains). Went right to 2nd spot quickly.

Huckle Buckle Frigging Beanstock! It has been found! I found the first part pretty easily this time with the newest coords. The second part was a different matter. I got to the area of the coords, and started searching under fallen trees as per the note. I finally found it about 40-45 feet from the coords. Met SJ on the way out. I gave him the coords I got, and I gave him my method of getting coords. Not always perfect, but seems to work pretty well most of the time. He had a GPS V, so he may be able to get even better coords than what I gave him. Alot of man hours went into the initial find (Jaques, HFJohn, Brother Larry, CB, myself, the police, any others who didn't log a no-find)! I am very surprised to be the first! I guess I got lucky, and maybe a little obsessed. (Obsessed geocacher...isn't that an oxymoron? Or would that be a GPS Moron?) Anyway, I AM THE FIRST!

Open Log: Personal use only Went back to the old cords on this page. The cords are realy off and never have been back there in that part of the park. I have no idea how my G.P.S. got thoes as the cords for the first cache. I apologize for any inconvenience, truely sorry!!! As far as the bones go I did not see them. I would never have put the micro cache back in that dence place. The first cache is just off the trail. Look for big fallen trees and very little ground coverage. I fixed the old cords. Get back on thoes bones!
