The J.H. Phillips wayside is just south of Lynchburg on the east side of the 29. At the top center of the wayside is the begining of a trail. The hill is steep and the trail is barely visible, sometimes even questionable. My GPS had a weak signal so I gave a detailed clue. Don't use it unless you have to. The cache is well hidden. Please keep it that way. Remember to "cache in trash out". Happy caching and be careful.
