Kariya Park is a hidden gem in downtown Mississauga. This garden celebrates Mississauga's twinning with Kariya, Japan.

This is a beautiful spot, complete with a rather large pond and koi fish. The large bell is actually called "The Friendship Bell". A lot of people come here for their wedding photos (the owners of this cache included). Bring a camera and come early in the day for the best photos. Be sure to spend some time wandering and enjoying this place; it is very special to us.

This park closes at night and is monitored. No night caching for this one.

You can reach this cache without stepping on any plants or otherwise harming the garden. This is a rather busy place with people milling about enjoying the view in the warmer months. Please use discretion.

This is the starting point for the (GC.Com) Kariya Swimmer Travel Bug (TBJ1K4).

Just noticed this listed here. Found it over 2 years ago, while I was waiting for my daughter at a Cheerleading competition at The Hershey Center. Downtown Mississauga is very colorful, and the cache was found without too much difficulty.

Had to a wander around a bit to avoid all the photo parties! Eventually managed to scare off the muggles that were hanging out near the cache and then the container was in hand! Quick find, this time I had a closer parking space!

Second attempt at this one. The water fall was off today, and the area was a large swamp. Looks like some plumbing leaks underground. Found the previous cache while in the area too.
