This easy cache is located at the end of Old Cattaraugus Road, where an old wooden bridge used to be located. Be sure to come from Genesee Road, and not on the opposite side.
Cache is a small lock-n-lock container, containing a logbook and swag. This is a nice serene and peaceful area near a nice creek for fishing Enjoy the cache/view/ and the creek. Bring your own pen/pencil. As always have fun and Happy Caching. |

Some people may question why it took me so long to attempt this cache since it is not that far from where I live. It is really very simple……..I was waiting for this one to grow up. My son left a cool little cowboy in the cache so there’s a new Sheriff in Town. And this place really needed one.

Open Log: Personal use only I made a detour on my way home from work today (about 20 miles) to check out this spot. It sounded interesting so after looking at the map and punching in the coordinates I made my way down to Genesee Rd. Naturally I went in the wrong way and had to turn around and find where the road was located on the other side of the creek. Once there, my GPS pointed me right to the well concealed hide and I signed the log and then placed the micro back. I added a little extra cammo just to make it more challenging for the next cacher. This is really a beautiful spot and looks like a great place to cast a line or two. Thanks for getting me here. -Paleoman52-
