This cache is on a 56 acre parcel identified with trail signage as
"Orchard Park recreational property" in the Town, just outside the
Village. I found this area while running errands during lunch hour,
while attempting to cut through from Taylor Rd. to Rt. 20A. I
turned down Imperial Drive, and OOOOPS! Dead end, but look at the
nice woods with trails! I went back to work, and quickly looked up
on the Erie County Internet mapping system that what I found was
town land.

Parking Coordinates are N 42 46.105' W 078 45.287'. But
since this is a dead-end street, you should really try to park
elsewhere in the neighborhood, and walk to the dead-end, to avoid
an endless stream of strangers parking in front of the same house,
and entering the trails. This is an easy walk on well defined
trail, less than .20 miles from the parking coordinates. But you
will have to deal with some downed limbs on the trail, and about 50
feet of relatively heavy bushwacking, complete with some stickers.
Stay on the trail until absolutely necessary to bushwack.

This is a winter accessable cache that will be removed and
archived six months after placement (Mid-May 2006). My intention
here is to introduce cachers to the area, and to place the
Starter Bug Travel Bug
whose goal is to forever be the FTF
prize in brand new caches. (Obviously, this Travel Bug
only applies to another geocaching website).

Hey imagine that, I forgot to log a cache on this site. Luckily it's still listed since it's been archived on the other site. As a matter of fact, I saw the container in the owner's car just yesterday (6/18). Nice area back here, TFTC Urk.

Wow! I really need to get my contact lenses checked if I can't see something like this the first time. I was out caching at Chestnut Ridge with Hiking Cockroachess and she kindly let me stop to find this one even though she had found it a few weeks ago. Great cache, hope this area gets put to good use after this cache is archived soon.
Thanks again Urkel.

Mix one part Xmas shopping and one part caching...and you get one fun/crazy/cold/expensive day. Haha, I'll let you determine which one of those pertains to the cache. ;)
Found the cache with no problem...(It actually found me before I found it...haha).

Very cute little park that ended a marathon day of shopping. Always fun doing WU caches!

Happy Holidays All!

WOW, that was a LOT of snow!
Found this after work tonight before dark.
I figured I was so close why not?
It showed only 12.5 miles on the GPSr.:)
Wish I had read the logs before I went, I would have
taken a marker with me.
Thanks for another great cache.
