First time out couldn't find. To much snow. Smiley found it today. Many deer in area. Nice hide THanks

Third on the day and just as fun as the others.
I never get over just how enjoyable this activity can be.
Thank you for taking the time to place this cache so a fool such as I can get out doors and give it a run.

This one almost got me. I wanted to end another night of night caching with an easy one. This was supposed to be .11 miles from where I parked.

The coords kept putting me in the same place 50 feet from the cache on the wrong side of the hill. I scoured every nook and cranny and poked every bush for an hour before I called a friend to check the logs for me. She found some updated coords in a log on GC.com which sent me in the right direction. 5 minutes later I had it.

When I checked the pedometer, it said I had hiked an extra mile up and down the side of that hill!

The moon was very bright on the hike out and I saw more than 50 deer on the way out of the park.

4th of Five today in park, 2:40pm. Snow added to the challange, good hide. Our two GPS recievers had a good offset on location. JJW, John, Randy & Lisa

Found this one a little after 1pm. Got lucky, and hit it from the right direction. The cache is in good shape, but whoever found it last left it pretty exposed. I logged in and
rehid it (a little better). Took nothing, left nothing. Thanks for the hide.

Whew was Uncle Sam playing with the sats today? My readings were very jangly and I got to know the old gravel pit pretty well.
Dropped off Wally Warhead TB and took nothing.

Our first of five caches we found this afternoon. I haven’t been to Mendon ponds park in years and now remembered what a great place this was. Found this one with onamission and my bro from nyc at about 1:30. Found a nice parking spot and took a trail which led good-size hill. The climb warmed us up. On our way out we heard, then spotted a few white tail running though brush. Took nothing, left nothing. Thanks for the hunt.

3rd of 9 find today Found at 10:45 AM
Walked trail, hiked up and up and up the hill right to the cache. And just like everyone else, saw a big doe guarding the cache. But she left in a hurry and let me open the cache. Signed log, took/left nothing. But I think I logged 7 Aug so will the next finder change my log date to 7 Sep. Thanks Hinge for the nice hike and hide.

Well once again Team Ferret takes the hard way. We didn't even see the trail close by to where we parked. We took a bunch of deer trails and only found the main trail after we found the cache. We took the Star candles and left a Star puzzle. The cache was out in the open, so we hide it better. Almost all the caches we found in the park were left in the open.

Found it today 1st of 3. Got to the top of the hill we wanted and as I went to the clearing to get a better fix, RLind points at my feet and says "Maybe its in that green box" Made me feel like an idiot, I'm standing 2 feet from it looking at the sky!!!

We saw some deer as well ... good hike.

Hey! This was the 3rd find of 5 for us today. And what a great day it was!!

We parked along the road cause the GPS said that we were within a 1/10 of a mile. Well that didn't account for altitude from our location.
Huff Puff!!

Needed the clue as our GPS was 50ft off. I found the cache :) It was in good/great shape1 We took a gel pen (Sweety says Thanks), a Squish thing (Butterfly girl says thanks) and a key chain (Eversure says thanks as well). We left a full set of marbles, a clown nose, a feather mask and a basket ball player.

Our second find of the day at Mendon Ponds park. Cooked out burgers and ate at the park on what was probably one of the last good weekends this year. Great location. My wife spotted this one first. Not a bad climb compared to what we had done earlier in the day. Took the Transformer toy and left a deck of cards. She took a phot of the both of us. Thanks.

Great spot, Hinge Thunder. One of my favorite parks around. Also gave me an opportunity to check on the 2 caches I have there.Cool temps. this am made for a real enjoyable walk to the cache. No problems & cache is in great shape. I took can of WD40 & left a 3 pc. ditty bag set & 2 wheresgeorge bills. Took my pic. with the camera & left my mark in the log book. Thanks for the adventure. ---Gimpy--

6:55PM, a 3rd cache in Mendon Ponds park which is good for us who work in Henrietta. Sun was setting & there I was in my work tie, in between rain showers. My eTrex & III+ got me within 48' & 51' respectively. Keep your puppy dogs leashed as there are many fearless deer who almost let you walk up to them. Cache also contained rubber ball, Transformer, & Mortal Kombat CD. Don't forget to turn off the manual flash switch on the camera. Nothing struck my fancy, but I left a WheresGeorge.com bill for free tracking.

Bring a garbage bag: I hauled out a coffee cup, candy wrapper & Wendy's cup that still had ice in it.
