Open Log: Unrestricted I saw that this cache might be a navicache exclusive and I was rather excited at the prospect of finding a cache that hadn't been touched for four years. How cool would that be? It'd be like a long lost secret. But alas, no such luck today. Heading towards the cache, I figured the odds were against it still existing. Even if no other cacher had found it since 2005, the odds of someone else discovering it by accident were good. Nice ravine and huge beacons at GZ. My daughter and I examined all of them. There's a nice set of roots at the center of ground zero that could support a regular sized cache, but nothing there. Erosion over the years may have exposed the cache, so unless I hear from the owner, I'm going to assume this one is long gone.

Open Log: Unrestricted FTF - 6:30 P.M. Nice place for a cache. It was glorious view overlooking the valley this evening. I ripped my transaction register from my checkbook in half and added it for a logbook. Thanks for the cache; the dog and I loved the hike.
