Turn onto Mount Pleasant Road off of Route 5 in Canastota. Park at the head of the link trail just before you enter the cemetary.

Hike down the link trail following the blue markers. The cache is in a tupperware type container with a green lid. It is located about 20 feet off the trail.

Due to heavy tree cover on the trail, your GPS may have some trouble tracking. After you find the cache, continue down the trail to enjoy the wildlife and beautiful scenery.

Found it at 1:15 pm. Made this a short bushwhack from the cemetary. Took nothing, left nothing.

Was in Rome for a visit and decided to see if I could find a couple of caches on my way home to Dansville, N.Y. This was a real nice trail and your coordinates took me right to the cache. Signed log and since I didn’t have my trading materials only took Trek to the Cache II travel bug. I’ll give him a ride of at least 100 miles west. I’ll do the other Link Trail cache the next time I’m out this way. Thanks for the nice hike and hide.
