Einfacher Cache, der mit Rad, Bus oder Auto leicht zu erreichen ist.
Easy Cache, reachable by bike, bus or car. Die Johanneskirche ist eine der ältesten Kirchen in Wien und wurde teilweise über den Resten einer Siedlung aus der Römerzeit errichtet. Das Areal neben der Kirche ist frei zugänglich. Führungen über die archäologischen Ausgrabungen aus der Römerzeit und dem Mittelalter gibt es von Mai bis Oktober an jedem ersten Sonntag im Monat. Der Cache ist eine kleine runde Dose mit folgendem Originalinhalt:
The Johanneskirche is one of the oldest churches in Vienna. It is partly built above a roman settlement. The area beside the church is free accessable. Guided tours about the roman and the medieval archeological excavation take place from May to October at the first sunday each month. The cache is a small round box with following original content:

Der letzte Cache im Wienurlaub. Die Ausgrabungen sahen interessant aus und die Dose war recht schnell gefunden. Zum Glück, denn es war eisig kalt und ein unangenehmer Wind hat die Suche erschwert.

Tested my brand new bike and used the occasion to make a maintenance trip to the cache. Changed box, logsheet and stashnote after removing a few useless trading items. Many thanks to the last finders for their remarks!
