TEMPORARILY DISABLED...............I WILL TRY TO RESOLVE THIS VERY SOON!!! 5-10-04
This cache is packed solid with goodies!!Homemade train whistle, Master lock combination lock,
Indoor/Outdoor suction cup thermometer, Ice cream scoop, Glow in the dark balls, Coin wrappers, Foam
stamps, Cyalume stick, Silly Putty, Hot wheels car, Foam nerf rocket, Smiley face baseball, tube repair kit, car
freshners.

This is the 1st multi cache of a series of caches for Cattaraugus Creek. It utilizes 2 ammo
boxes, two parking areas and an alternate parking area if needed. This multi cache consists of
one letterbox hybrid cache and one traditional cache. The listed cache coordinates are for the
first cache box. We strongly suggest that you park at these coordinates to start your
adventure. PARKING N4228.522 W07840.597. Under no circumstances will you have to enter the Country Club for any reason!! There are several ways to the parking coordinates using the backroads

If for some reason you decide not to venture to the cache as mentioned above, relax, there is
an ALTERNATE route to the first cache box. Unfortunately it entails a four-mile round trip.
Fortunately it is very flat and straightforward. ALTERNATE PARKING: N4230.418
W07840.649. Look for the EXEMPT to start your alternate journey.

The 1st part of this multi cache is a .30 caliber ammo box containing a letterbox hybrid cache
and token slips with the coordinates for the final parking area and find, a .50 caliber ammo
box containing the traditional cache treasures and logbook.

Letterboxing is a much older treasure hunt game that originated in Great Britain.Rather than
exchanging treasures you will need to bring a unique rubber stamp to exchange images with
the cache. Use your stamp in the cache logbook when you log your find. Then use the cache
stamp in your own logbook. The idea is to carry a letterbox logbook and stamp to exchange
and collect images from all around! You can make your own stamp by carving an eraser or
you can buy one at a stamping or craft store. Under no circumstances should you ever leave
anything in a letterbox hybrid cache. The rubber stamp, inkpad and logbook items should
not be taken but left in this box for future letterbox hybrid cachers.

Cattaraugus Creek is the largest of the four primary watercourses that forms the southern
boundary of the Village of Springville in the Town of Concord, draining a portion of
southwest Erie County before flowing into Lake Erie.

Getting to the first cache box is interesting to say the least. Let us also say that this
approach may not be for everyone! WARNING IF YOU ARE TAKING CHILDREN ON THIS
FIRST PART, WE SUGGEST THAT THEY UNDERSTAND THE POTENIAL FOR SERIOUS
INJURY OR DEATH WHICH COULD RESULT WITHOUT THE GUIDANCE OF A
RESPONSIBLE ADULT. All in all this is a safe trek of which we have done straight down the
middle many times before. We must also mention that once you get near the 1st cache box
that you do not venture to the Southwest, as this is a private country club golf course.

Part 2 of this cache takes on a whole new view. Please trade treasures, read the log intro, sign
the logbook and enjoy the area!

Nice cache!
Really enjoyed getting out and hunting again it has been awhile. The first box was literally frozen to the ground got it unstuck stamped the log then had a nice walk over to the second cache. Signed in, dropped off a set of playing cards, the Cracka Jakk TB and snagged the other 2 TB's.

Glad my job brought me to the area.
Thanks for the fun,
Wheelygood

Another great Balloon Pilot-Chickenlips cache! Luckily, I am in no way afraid of heights and enjoyed that spectacular view! In my early teens I spent a lot of time in Zoar Valley with my family camping but had never seen this wonderful area before. Found both caches quickly, our second of three today with some newbies along. Ran into fellow cachers Snowboarder and crew. Was a pleasure talking with them. Off to Cattaruagus #2 with sunset nearing quickly!! Thank you for the fantastic cache!

6th of 7 finds today Found 1st part at 4:45 PM & 2nd part at 5:30PM
4th of 4 BP & CL cache finds today. What an interesting hide and HIKE for this one! I could see that a lot of effort and research went into this cache. No trouble finding either part. As with all 4 of your caches I done today, the coordinates were dead on. Glad the 2nd part was an easy hike, as I was getting tired. Signed log, took/left nothing. Thanks for the hides and the imagination you have in making them.
