Höö (Hay Island) is situated in Lake Möckeln in the country of Kronoberg, in the near of Älmhult. It is an pretty landscape of pasture-lands, fields and forests and loads of stones. Since 1969, Höö (together with serveral smaller islands) is a nature reserve. The aerea covers about 110 Hectars and the purpose is to preserve the old landscape. For more information read the flyer you can get at the parking.

The Cache “Island Höö” provides a nice round trip through this amazing landscape The walk is about some 3.5 KM long and will take approximately 1 – 1.5 Hours. Follow the waypoints from Höö-A to Höö-G (or reverse) and look at waypoint Höö-E for a huge massive object. There you take a photo with the massive object in the background and yourself and your gps in the front. To log this cache please simply add the photo to your log. Due to the fact that the island Höö is a nature reserve there is no real cache hidden and please stay on the (blue or orange marked) ways. There is no need to leave the way (and it's not allowed, too).
